Kimberley Gail Kalabsa, 63 of Sanford, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 21, 2025. She was born on December 11, 1961 to the late Harold and Ruth Bond in Heidelberg, Germany. Kim married her sweetheart Michael James Kalabsa on March 13, 2013 and they shared twelve loving years together.
Kim loved spending time with her family, animals, cooking and good music. She loved the outdoors including camping and spending time at their cabin in Cloudcroft, New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband; Michael Kalabsa, children; Ashley (Travis) Tolzdorf, Savannah Yrigoyen, sister; Gabrielle "Gaby" Bond and many nieces and nephews.
Kim is preceded in death by her brother; Michael Bond, Kevin Bond.
A celebration of life will take place at 2:00pm on April 26, 2025 at Smith-Miner Funeral Home with Pastor Don Duford officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:30pm until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Midland County Humane Society in her honor.
