Saddened to hear of her passing but loved how exuberant she lived life. First met Kim as a freshman at Bowie State College (University) where we embarked on a friendship that continued for many years after. Unfortunately I didn't have connections with either of my college roommates but was happy to meet two others (her & Tracy) who brought me in as a third wheel over 40 years ago. Although we lost touch, I will always have found memories of her warmth and upbeat personality. Extending my prayers and condolences to the friends and family who will miss her most.

Kim, I don't even know where to start. This one hurts like crazy. I remember wobbling into your office at Tate, Tate and Tate in 1999 pregnant with my first-born son (Daniel). We connected and bonded from that day forward. You were more than a Tax Preparer for me, we became sisters. When Monica joined the Tate Team, we became triplets. You would call me off tax season just to catch up on the thing's life was throwing my way as a True Aries would do. As I gave birth to two more boys, we discussed the rearing of Brandyn, Daniel, Tariq and Cameron. We compared the do's and the don'ts with caring for the boys. You were my Aries Sister, My Big Sister, My Calm before I blow up, My Listening Ear. We talked about soooo much and I could relate. This one hurts Kimmy...I am lost for words. I am barely able to type as the tears are uncontrollably streaming down my face. I called you and texted you and couldn't understand why you were not answering. It never dawned on me that God had come and hand-picked you for HIS garden. It is well with my soul as I know you are in HEAVEN but the pain in my heart is going to burn a little bit because I don't have you in the Human Form.
Thank you for being the person GOD created you to be. Thank GOD for introducing you to me and placing you in my life for over 25 years. Too Know You IS to LOVE You and there is no doubt about that. While I am not able to be physically present to pay my last respects to your flesh, I will always carry you in my HEART! Heaven has gained a special person and me & the boys have gained a Heavenly Angel. I Love You Kim and miss you already! The impression you left on so many people lives is a wonderful thing.
God Bless the Bland Family! I pray for strength and encouragement during this difficult time. My heart is with you all and I will keep you in my prayers!
This one HURTS!!
Love,

Kim will be deeply missed! I began having my taxes prepared by Kim in the early 2000s, and I always looked forward to our annual meetings filled with laughter and good-natured banter. We would share jokes and enjoy each other's company so much. Her passing has left us all in shock, especially since we were eagerly anticipating seeing her again in February 2025. My heartfelt condolences go out to her son, mother, and the rest of her family. Kim truly was a joy to be around. May she rest in peace.
