Kimberly Bone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Compassion Funeral & Cremation Services - Nashville on Feb. 11, 2026.
Kimberly "Kim" Ricks Bone passed away at age 56 in her home in White House, TN on January 26, 2026, after fighting a long battle with glioblastoma brain cancer.

Kim is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Nelson Bone; daughter, Hannah Bone (Nathan Elmer); sister, Kristy Reineke (Kurt); sister in laws, Mary Beth Wilson and Jane Kelly (Mike).

After receiving her bachelor's degree from Bluefield College, completing nursing school through Belmont University, and earning her Nurse Practitioner license through Vanderbilt University. Kim was deeply passionate about her career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she worked as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator for Vanderbilt's Liver Transplant Department. Her love and care for others showed not just through her attentiveness to her patients, but also through the overflow of warmth and kindness that she displayed for her husband, daughter, friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. Kimberly will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong work ethic, and the kindness she showed to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and selflessness that will not be forgotten.

For friends and family wishing to pay their respects to Kim, the family will be hosting a celebration of life event at The Upper Room from the hours of 4-8PM at 119 East Allen Road in Hendersonville, TN 37075 on February 28, 2026.
