It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberly Dawn Carr, who departed this life on December 6, 2025, in Oconee County, South Carolina. Born on April 19, 1984, Kimberly was a cherished daughter, devoted mother, and beloved sister whose vibrant spirit and caring nature impacted all those fortunate enough to know her.
Kimberly is by her loving father, Dennis Keith Carr; her sons, Justin Redd of Clemson and Dylan Redd, who resided at home; her daughter, Hailey Craine; and her son, Jason Craine. In addition to her children, she leaves behind her sister, Tina Louise Smith; her friend and the father of her children, Steve Redd; and her nieces and nephew: Paige Martin, Amber Tulk, and Richard Smith. Notably, she is also remembered by her brother-in-law, Ricky Smith, and Denise Craine (BGFG), described as a beloved part of her extended family.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Ella Louise Taylor, and her daughter, Robbie "Boo" Prang, who hold a treasured place in Kimberly’s heart and memory.
A Memorial Gathering will be held in her honor on December 14, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM at The Martin House, 512 East Main Street, Westminster, SC 29693. The family encourages all who knew and loved Kimberly to join them in celebrating her life, sharing stories, and finding comfort in each other's presence during this difficult time.
Kimberly will always be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she had for her family. She touched many lives and her legacy will live on through the cherished memories made with her. May she rest in peace.
