Kimberly Carrigan Obituary

She was born April 18, 1957, to Walter and Faye Searle. She graduated from Mohegan Community College receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Kim worked at the William Backus Hospital in the Pediatric Department; the ICU; and the Emergency Department for 42 years. She was awarded the Nightingale Award for her service there.
Kim leaves behind her husband William Carrigan of 45 years; two daughters, Kelley and her husband Dan Casey and grandson Hugh Casey, Shannon and her husband Frank Puglisi and grandsons Nico and Luca Puglisi; Kim's sister Margo Searle and her husband Steve Howard; and her nephew Kyle Howard; Kim's step-mother Marilyn Searle and her step-brothers John Sasman and his wife Lorie, David Sasman and her adopted sister Corinne and her husband Paul Hoxit. Kim was predeceased by her son Ryan Carrigan.
A celebration of life will be held at Langley's in Waterford Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 3 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105. www.stjude.org.

To the Carrigan family, Me and I my son Russell send our deepest condolences to all. We have known Kim since Russell was a baby and stayed in the pediatric ward more then he was out. May God cover you with his loving arms and keep you in his tender loving care.
