Kimberly Kay Chind, 62, of Lapeer, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital.

She was born October 19, 1962, in Ferndale, the daughter of the late John and Darlene (nee Gentry) Fisher.

Kimberly worked as an office manager for many years. She was as selfless and loving as one could be. Kim was always putting her children and grandchildren first and making memories a true priority. Whether it was taking her grandchildren to Tigers Baseball games, fishing, or traveling to Florida to see the beautiful beaches; Kim loved being a grandma and soaking in the special time. In her free time, she loved hitting up the casino for a fun night of slot machines.

Surviving are two children, Jessica (Gabe) Kostiuk and Tim Chind Jr.; grandchildren, Justin (Angelica), Brenden, Deven, Michael, Jonathan, and Madison; great grandchild Kendrick; the father of her children, Tim Chind Sr.; and her siblings, Robin (Lee) Richer, Jason Fisher, and Pamela Kelly, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family honors the memory of Kimberly and invites you to visit and share memories Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.
