Kimberly Cobb Obituary

Kimberly Ann Cobb
35, of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away Oct. 12, 2013, due to complications from Marfan syndrome. Kim was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend. She always had a smile on her face. Prior to her diagnosis, Kim worked in early childhood education and served at one as a former preschool director.
Kim was predeceased by her father, Bradley Cobb, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Allecia and Aaralyn; her mother, Lynn Cobb Jenkins and stepfather, Bill Jenkins, Charlotte; brothers, Brad Cobb, Jr., Chris Cobb and wife, Sonya, and, Jason Cobb and wife, Lynn, all of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, Lauren, Emily, and Kelsey Cobb, and nephews, Coen and Nathan Cobb, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Special thanks are expressed to Dr. Robert Allen for his years of innovative care and caring, and to the staff of Presbyterian Main ICU. A celebration of Kim's life and love will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the Quail Hollow Presbyterian Church, 8001 Park Rd., Charlotte, with the Rev. Dr. Augustus E. Succop III officiating. Memorials may be made to The Marfan Foundation (www.marfan.org) or The Marfan Foundation, 22 Manhasset Ave, Port Washington, N.Y. 11050.
