Kimberly “Kim” Craft passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born March 1, 1971, in Bossier City, Louisiana to Darlene and Allen Garcie.
Having earned a degree in early childhood development from the University of Maryland, Kim worked much of her life as a childcare center director at centers located in England and throughout the United States. She was happiest when surrounded by her family as she was a loving daughter and sister, and doting mother of her only child. Kim loved music, Mexican food, laughing, and singing out loud.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Garcie. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Devin Craft; sister, Shannon Garcie; brother, Chad Garcie; mother, Darlene Benson and husband, Larry; aunt, Sandra Samuel and husband, Dawson; nephews, Chase Parker and Jacob Garcie and niece, Caroline Garcie.
Funeral services will be officiated by Reverend Henry Martin and held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana with a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Plain Dealing Cemetery, LA-157, Plain Dealing, Louisiana.
Honoring Kim as pallbearers will be Jacob Garcie, Shawn Leone, Carlton Hopkins, Taylor Brown, Dalton Mayberry, and Chase Parker.
