It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimberly Gilmore Freyoux, beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, who left us on November 10, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on May 30, 1981, in Morgan City, LA, Kimberly was a shining light in the lives of those around her, known for her giving heart and unwavering love.Kimberly dedicated her life to her family, she found true happiness in spending time with her beloved grandchildren, creating countless fond memories that will be cherished forever. Her laughter and love will echo in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
Kimberly will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents,Leo and Suzette Acosta Gilmore; two children, Austin Freyoux and wife Rose, Kelsey Taylor and significant other Kenneth; Kimberly’s significant other, Curtis Richard; father of Austin, Keith Freyoux; three grandchildren, Lucy and Parker Freyoux, and Kinsley Taylor; two brothers, Troy Gilmore and wife Melinda, Chad Gilmore; nieces and nephews, Kayla Allen and husband Dan, Troy Gilmore Jr., Hailey Gilmore and significant other, Colton, Hannah Gilmore; great nieces, Everly and Ella Allen, Brynlee Boutte.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Murphy and Agnes Gilmore, maternal grandparents, Patricia Eues and step-grandfather Ervin Eues, Ronald Cumbest; father of Kelsey, Shawn Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home, with Pastor Tommy Fromenthal and Pastor Herb Stanley officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Twin City Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Kimberly will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
