It is with Great sadness that the family of Kimberly S. Huffman (of Howard, OH) announces her passing at the age of 59. Kim was born on July 2nd, 1965, in Columbus, OH to Robert and Mary {Carr} Walsh. She was also the proud mother of two children and four grandchildren. 

Kim had a colorful sense of humor that we all loved her for. She had many deep interests, including an eclectic taste in music, books, and film. She was deeply passionate about animals and was an excellent gardener. Over the years Mom opened her heart and home to many animals and people in their greatest time of need.

Kim proudly worked as a Nurse’s Aide for over twenty years, providing comfort and end-of-life care at The Laurels of Mt. Vernon, Ohio Eastern Star and Hospice of Knox County to those in their final days. 

Kim is survived by her mother, Mary (Carr) Walsh, Sister, Tonya Brantley, son Braden (Janelle) Huffman, and daughter Tara (Chris) Huffman; grandchildren; Kennedy Collins, Olivia Hembree and Penelope & Maisy Huffman; as well as, her beloved partner of 22 years, Michael Jensen. 

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walsh.

Please join our family and friends as we remember and celebrate her life, and the love that we all shared on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at Roberts Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, OH.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM followed by the Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM.
