Kimberly Marie Insardi

Kimberly Marie Insardi (nee Provencher), 57, of Shelby Township, passed away on May 8, 2024. She was born in Detroit on August 23, 1966. There were many facets to Kimberly's life: wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, missionary, and businesswoman. At the beginning of her career life, she worked as a Data Processing Manager for Modern Engineering at various GM facilities in Warren, MI. Kimberly met Stephen while working for one of his customers. After Kimberly and Stephen married she started working at Bulldog Records Management and was truly an integral part of the family business, primarily as the Customer Care Advocate, but she would also tackle any job as the need arose. Kimberly truly saw the best in everyone. No matter where she was, if she saw someone in need, she wanted to help, whether materially or by prayer. She always put others before herself. She loved missionary work and helped many from the roughest parts of New York to the needy in Africa. She loved to spread seeds of God everywhere she went.
Above all else, Kimberly cherished her family. Together they enjoyed skiing trips to Boyne Mountain or The Highlands at Harbor Springs, antiquing, and, most recently, boating. She loved seeing her boys enjoying the water and captaining the family boat. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faithfulness lives on in her children.
Kimberly is survived by her loving husband Stephen R. Insardi; devoted children Angelo S. Insardi (19), and Anthony J. Insardi (15); mother Beverly Jean Provencher-Hood; brothers Keith (Patty) Provencher, Kory (Rona) Provencher; sisters Kelly (Mark) Young, Kris (Tony) Wynn, and Karlee Provencher; brothers-in-law Andrew Insardi, Daniel (Patricia) Insardi, David (Trisha) Insardi, Philip Insardi; many loving nieces and nephews; other extended family; and dear friends Luana Luckhard, and Lisa Robertson.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Albert O. Provencher; stepfather Harold K. Hood; brothers-in-law Richard and Raymond Insardi; and her close friend Melissa Murray.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, May 14 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home Bossardet Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Journey Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Matt Schuler will officiate. Kimberly will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery at 12:30 following the service. Memorial Donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Kimberly will be deeply missed, but we have many special memories in our hearts to cherish forever.
