With a book in hand and a Texas Rangers game on the screen, Kimberly Ann Keene lived a life filled with stories, both the ones she read and the ones she created with the people she loved. Born in Waxahachie, Texas on October 8, 1961, Kimberly’s story came to a close on November 18, 2025. Kim spent many years working in retail sales where people always spoke about how Kim greeted everyone with love. Her infectious smile and bubbly personality warmed every heart she encountered.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Keene. She is survived by her mother Mary Montgomery, and father’s wife Betty Keene; her three children William Wesela (Nikki) of Haltom City; Stephen Renfro of Santa Fe, New Mexico; and Lindsey Cyrus (James Cook) of Spring, Texas.
She was a grandmother to Finn, William Jr., Adrian, and Jason, and a great-grandmother to little Aurora. Kimberly is also survived by her siblings: Tracy Minter (Mike), Cheri, Harold, and Chris, along with many aunts, uncles,nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.
Kimberly’s life was a novel filled with heart, humor, and fun. Her story will continue in the pages she loved, the games she cheered for, and the lives she touched along the way.
The memorial service honoring her legacy will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1:00-2:30pm at Archer Funeral Home in Seymour, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Kimberly’s honor be made to your local women’s shelter or House of Hope 3011 West Marshall Ave. Longview, TX 75601.
