Kimberly Sue Masteller

Kimberly Sue Masteller, age 55, of Newark, Delaware, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2025.
She was born on February 6, 1970, in Upland, Pennsylvania, at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Kim was the cherished wife of Keith Masteller and the nurturing mother of Aubryn Masteller, both of Newark, Delaware. A graduate of Chichester High School in 1988, Kim went on to complete EMTP certification at Delaware County Community College in 1999.
Kim cherished her family and appreciated the simple joys of life. She found great happiness in caring for her dog, Foley, and her cat, Kato, and was an avid scrapbooker who always went above and beyond in her attention to detail. Over the years, she became a passionate Philadelphia Phillies fan, a décor enthusiast, and occasionally loved getting lost in a good crime novel. Those who knew her will remember her soft-spoken tone, paired with a quiet sense of humor that often caught people by surprise, as well as the fierce devotion with which she protected those she loved and held close.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Masteller; her daughter, Aubryn Masteller; her father, Larry Jones (Patricia); her mother, Janet Hartman; her sister, Nanna Stankovics (Joe); her brother, Larry Jones Jr. (Victoria); and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her stepfather, Gene Hartman.
A visitation will be held on January 17, 2026 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. at Mealey Funeral Home, located at 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. Service will begin at 11:30 A.M.
Above all, Kim will be remembered for her love. The love she had for her family, her friends, and the life she built.
