Waterville, OH - Kimberly Moore, age 53, of Wetumpka, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Heritage Village of Waterville, OH following a long illness.
She was born on February 26, 1972, in Montgomery, AL, the daughter of the late Phillip Wayne Cowart, Sr. and Bobbie Fowler Moses.
Kimberly had worked as a secretary for Aronov Realty in Montgomery, AL before taking time off to raise her family. She took pride in being a mother to her children and was a devout woman of faith. In her free time, Kimberly enjoyed reading and spending time with her children.
She is survived by her two sons, Denver Charles Moore of Montgomery, AL, and Stacy “Alan” Moore of Montgomery, AL; daughter, Alyssa Kaitlyn Moore of East Palestine; two stepsons, Wesley Aaron Moore of Eatonton, GA and Cody Alexander Moore of Marbury, AL. Also surviving are her close friends and neighbors, Billy and Alec Bowden of Montgomery, AL, her closest childhood and lifetime friend, Teresa Medlen of Montgomery, AL, and two beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Lee Cowart, a sister, Sheila Faye Cowart and a brother, Phillip Wayne Cowart, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
Services will be held on Thursday, at 7:00 pm, at the funeral home, with Pastor Fritz Nelson officiating.
Kimberly will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Snowdoun, AL.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
