Kimberly Moss Obituary

Kimberly Dawn Moss
Kimberly Dawn Moss maiden name Kimberly Dawn Annuzzi was born on May 10th, 1966 to John & Edie Annuzzi of Stamford, CT. Kim passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 1st at Danbury Hospital after a yearlong fight with Colon Cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Glen, her two children Stephen and Stephanie, her granddaughter Emma, her Mother Edie, mother-in-law Jean, brother John Annuzzi, brothers-in-law Doug Moss and Clint Dally, her sisters-in-law Nancy Dally, Terrie Annuzzi and Sandy Moss as well as her 8 nephews David, Justin, John, Doug, CJ, Michael, David and Christopher.
Kim was born and raised in Stamford, CT where she made a name for herself as a standout athlete more specifically playing her favorite sport of softball. She was married to Glen on June 18th, 1988 where they made a life for themselves in Brookfield, CT. Kim was an active member in the community as her children went through the school system constantly involved in the local sports programs as well as assisting in school functions and the community as a whole. When her kids grew up, she went to work at Hudson Machine Works where she was Vice President/owner and ran the Human Resource department, she was an invaluable member of the team and the company's success. Kim loved golfing at her two clubs (Trump National Westchester & Ridgewood CC Danbury), photography on occasion especially at all of our sporting events, she enjoyed her motorcycle, her jeep nicknamed Ruby, her loving four legged mups (puppies) Bailey Beamer Bentley Rover & Blaze. She always enjoyed spending as much time with her family as possible and the occasional glass of wine at happy hour with her cherished friends.
Even though Kim lost her battle to Colon cancer, she was an 11-year Breast Cancer survivor and was very active with the breast cancer awareness foundation as well as charities to support the race for the cure.
Kim was a true warrior, a beacon of strength to her friends and family right to the very end. She was adored by all and carried an immediate impact on whomever she met. Anyone who knew her knew she was a kindhearted, gentle and genuine person. She wore many hats and she wore them all with poise, honor and love which truly was an inspiration to us all. She was an adored daughter, loving wife, tremendous friend, and the absolute best mother and grandmother to her babies. She will be missed dearly by all but it isn't goodbye as her memory will live on in those she knew and touched throughout her extraordinary life.
It is with a heavy heart we must postpone any ceremony to celebrate her life until it is safe to do so due to the current country pandemic going on. Kim will be buried Monday, April 6th at 1:30 p.m. at Wooster Cemetery 20 Ellsworth Ave., Danbury, CT 06810. If you wish to pay your respects, we ask you please show up to cemetery starting after 3 p.m. on Monday as to give the family some time to mourn in a safe environment.
When it is safe to do so, the family will hold a ceremony honoring her memory so we can all remember this incredible woman we all loved and cherished so dearly.
We ask in lieu of flowers or other condolences, you please make a donation to the team that fought so hard to give us the little time we had left with her. https://www.danburyhospital.org/support-danbury-hospital/ways-to-give/tribute-giving in memory of Kimberly Moss designation Oncology Department.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank everyone, especially the ones closest to Kim for the ongoing love and support she received in her final days. She fought an incredible fight and it wouldn't have been possible without those dearest to her.
She will be missed dearly by all, but never forgotten. In loving memory of Kimberly Dawn Moss

Happy Easter YaYa! The Easter Bunny made a trip to our house last night leaving foot prints all over the kitchen (silly rabbit)! I made you a necklace and left it with a basket of flowers near your grave today. I miss you more than you know! I hope you saw my pretty Easter dress i wore today (you picked it out for me last time we went shopping together). The Easter Bunny left eggs all around our yard and don't you know, I found every single one of them! You'd be super proud! Miss and love you to the moon and back times a thousand ❤ Love, your Emmie

Always smiling

Kim was a bright star with true grit at the center enveloped by compassion and good humor. She impressed everyone she met with her strength, dignity, and unflappable courage. She could smile in the face of adversity and be optimistic in the darkest of times. She inspired us all.

I am at loss for words.

You truly were my sunshine, my best friend, my rock, my whole heart. You taught me how to be so independent but never to be ashamed to come back home for that little extra hug and kiss. You taught me how to be an empathise, how to be passionate and how to nurture those around me. You supported me through thick and thin. You were my number one fan. No matter where I was or what I decided to do that particular day, you were always in the stands cheering me on. You were the true definition of a perfect mom. Your love was unconditional for both Emma and I. You guided me through this so called journey of life and all of a sudden, it just came to a halt. The days are starting to get longer and the sadness continues to grow little by little, but my love for you, will never die.
Words cannot express how much Emma and I will miss you.
May you rest easy and guide me and this little minion through the rest of our story (because God only knows I need help figuring this out the rest of the way). Love you to the moon and back mamma

John Annuzzi, Jr

April 7, 2020

I watched the full moon sneak up over the trees last night. As the darkness again turned light, I was reminded of how you always brought light and laughter and happiness. I wiped my tears and smiled, and even if only for a minute, it was a happy minute amidst many that were not. My life will never be the same, but as I heal, I will think back on all of the wonderful memories we shared over fifty-four plus years, I will tell your stories to all of the kids over and over and over and I will look forward to seeing that little bit of "Kim" that is in everyone that you graced while you were here with us. Rest easy now little sis and give dad a hug from me. Love always, your big brother

Edie,John,Glen,Stephen,Stephanie and Emma,

Words are so hard to express true feelings. I can't believe someone who brought such a bright light to us is gone. Kim's laugh/giggle brought such joy to our lives. My memories are deep and long beginning the day Kim was born. So many thoughts of that day! Through the years, watching her grow into such a wonderful woman has brought so many moments to be remembered always. I now picture her in the arms of her dad. May each of you be strengthened with the many happy memories you have. Go in peace Kim. With love, Aunt Moe

May the pain you feel now be nothing compared to the joy found in the wonderful memories of Kim.
Our family can't express how much we loved her and we're praying for your family and take comfort that Kim is at peace and watching over all of us.

Lovingly, Jeari, Al, Stephen and all the Scipione family....

I missed you today more than yesterday and I know it won't get easier. Everything reminds me of you. You were truly the glue that keep all of us together. I know you are peaceful now but I'm selfish and want you back. My heart is broken and I can't imagine doing this for the rest of my years on Earth. I look forward to seeing you again. Your smile and your warm comforting personality that always made everything ok

My love for you is stronger everyday.

Please watch over us.

My sweet daughter, how can I let you go? You were the light of my life, the sparkle, the glitter, and yet you were none of those in life. You were the earth, the sun, the moon and nature. There was no pretense about you. You walked into a room and it came to life. You always had a story that made us laugh. The light went out when you left us. But, of course, you're not gone. Your light will always shine in our hearts. Remembering your stories will bring a smile to our faces and we will always remember your brave and positive attitude. We are grateful you are no longer in pain; now the pain is ours. Rest in peace my lovely daughter. I will miss you every day of the rest of my life. You are now reunited with your loving Dad!

My wife of almost 32 years has gone to be with the Lord. It's impossible to tell you how I feel and all the things I want to say. As I said earlier you taught me how to be graceful when you were sick and how to be compassionate to others at the same time. You were always more concerned about friends and family problems than your own and lastly you showed we how to finish with dignity in the end as I held your hand. We spent a life time in the 37 years I've known you and the only thing we didn't do is write the last chapter of our book together. One day I will see you again and we will finish that chapter. For now I want you to rest pain free and know that I know you are watching over us. You were the best wife anyone could have and certainly by far the greatest mother and grandmother to our children. I wish we had one last night of doing crossword puzzles at 2 in the morning and trying to break the record. I will miss you here on Earth every day but I will always have you in my heart.

Your loving Husband

Hope you're playing golf up there and saying hi to everyone.
