Kimberly Rounds

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Kimberly (Kim) Rounds, 62, passed away on February 9, 2024, after a courageous battle with lymphoma.
Kim was born and raised in the Akron area and was a long-time resident of Cuyahoga Falls. Kim attended Our Lady of the Elms for her high school education, where she made several friends and some of her favorite memories. After high school, Kim began her career in customer service by working at her father's moving company, Fullerton Transportation. After a long career in the moving business, she began working in banking and spent the past decade at JP Morgan Chase. Kim loved her family and her favorite things included spending time with family and friends, babysitting her grand dogs, Sunny and Jet, and raising and spending time with her daughter. As a single parent of an only child, Kim and Tricia had a special and cherished relationship, and Tricia will miss her mom deeply.
Kim would be furious if we didn't list everyone in her large Italian family, so here it goes. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Patricia (Patti) Rounds.
Kim is survived by her daughter, Tricia (Clint) Upton; grandson, Ajax Upton, and her brother, Scott (Wendy) Rounds. Kim is also survived by nieces and nephews; Hannah (Garrett), Josh (Hannah), Jacob, and Jonah (Kianna) Rounds, and by her aunt, Terry (Dave) Bickel. Kim's extensive and loved family includes, Carla (Gary) Hall, Nicholas Hall, Michele (Mike) Cramer, Chelsea (Brad) Luli, Alex Cramer, Mark Campbell, Dana Cianciola, Lisa Fazenbaker, Jim (Kelly) Riter, Tony (Cathy) Riter, Raymond (Jennifer) Riter, Diane (Jeff) Teague, Denise (Kris) Blevins, Tammy Jones, and Mike (Cathy) Jones. Special friends include Pat (Tom) Shaw, Rita Upton, Honey Douglas, Tricia Chrobak-Jones (Tim Jones), Chris (Shazia) Chrobak, Taylor (Richard) Smetts, Wil Treesh, and Kathy 'Sis' Smith.
Kim was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Hilda Authenreith, and Margaret and Anthony Crano; aunts and uncles, Ray (Ruth) Riter, Maura 'Mary' and Carl Campbell, Dolores 'Jean', and Joe, Bruce and Priscilla Rounds; and cousins, Steve Riter, Joey Jones, and Patty Jones.

Calling hours will be held at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, in Stow 44224, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, 10 AM - 12 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 12 PM. A luncheon will immediately follow the services.
