Kimberly "Kim" Susan Ruud, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Born in Sumter County, SC, a daughter of James Martin Ruud and Margaret "Daisy" Barbre Ruud of Easley, Kim was a 1985 graduate of Easley High School, attended Lander University and received her Associate degree from Greenville Technical College. She was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church where she served in many areas.
Kim was an avid swimmer having competed in many competitions over the years. She loved adventures, beach trips and animals, but her greatest love was for her family, especially her grandchildren. Kim enjoyed cooking for her family and just spending time with them. She will be deeply missed by all that loved and knew her.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her son, Matthew Nalley (Casey) of Pickens; her sister, Sheri R. Stone (Mark) of Walterboro; her grandchildren, Noah Nalley, Gunner Nalley and Jameson Nalley; her nieces, Bailey Zaunbrecher (Shane), and Emily Stone (John Wagoner); and her great niece, Genevieve Zaunbrecher.
The family will host a memorial service 2:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2026 at Easley First United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made in memory of Kim to Easley First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 589, Easley, SC 29641; or to the animal shelter of one's choice
