Kimberly Jannine Dixon Taylor was born September 18, 1975, and departed this life for eternity with her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 9, 2026. She was born to Thaddaus Davis and Barbara Dixon.

"Kim" as she was affectionately known accepted Christ at an early age. She was a lifelong member of Lily Baptist Church. Kim was a 1993 honor graduate of John L. LeFlore Magnet High School of Communication and Arts. She then graduated from the University of Mobile with a degree in Elementary Education. Later, she obtained a Masters of Science Degree from the University of South Alabama in Elementary Education. Kim was a dedicated educator for 25 years. All of those years were dedicated to her beloved W. H. Leinkauf Elementary School.

Kim is preceded in death by her loving and devoted mother, Barbara A. Dixon; grandparents, Rev. Willie C. (Geraldine) Dixon, Lee Davis, Jessie Clarke Davis; great-grandfather, Dea. L.W. Clarke, Sr.; two uncles: Clarence Dixon and Timothy Dixon; mother-in-love, Elizabeth Taylor Brazelton.

Cherishing her life and loving memory are: a devoted and loving husband, Torrance L. Taylor; four loving children: Kendall S., Kyra J., Dominique C., Demetri C. Taylor. Her father, Thaddaus Davis; siblings: Lauren Davis-Nettles and Brian Davis-Nettles. Father- in-law Malcom Brazelton; One brother-in-law, Trevell (Danielle) Taylor; one sister-in-law, Sherelle Varner, of Atlanta, GA. Loving and devoted aunts: Doris (Clyde) Riley, Eleanor Sanders, Janice Dixon, Gwendolyn (Preston) Miller; one loving uncle, Joseph (Virginia) Davis; one loving great aunt, Celestine LeLand. Loving and devoted cousins Isiah Roberts, Shay Ervin, Rhonda Sanders of New Orleans, LA, and Jathany (Charlie) Thomas. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends. Special friends: Shatora Williams; LaTarchia Kimbrough of Alabaster, AL; Sheronda Dawkins; Erica Holland; Albert (Sherry) Moore; and the OLG.
