We are very sorry for your loss. Shennon comments daily how Kim is missed at his table. They all miss her at the Connect 5 program. Kim was a beautiful young women and made a deep impression on a persons heart. May God be with you and comfort you. God gave us memories that we may have June roses in the Decembers of our lives. She is that rose.

Kimmy, I will never forget you. You have changed the world one sweaty hand at a time. I loved your giggle when Eric would bug you. The tone would ring in my ears for days. I loved to hear you call Eric's name. Xander said he will remember that you would always say "Xander, stop touching my wheelchair!" You have taught Eric and I many life lessons that will influence our lives forever, I'm so happy for you to be at peace, but selfishly I want to keep you here.

To the Wassather family:
I'm still numb...I don't know if there is anything I can say or do to ease the pain, and anger. Just know that Eric and I love you all more than we have ever expressed to you. Kimmy we hold you in our hearts for eternity.

I went to school with Kim for a very long time. She was a really good friend of mine. We went to Special Ed together for as long as i can remember. She was so fun and she never let anything bring her down. She always had an amazing attitude and smile... and all in all that is what always counts. This loss affects many people for she was very loved.

Linda,

You may not remember me from a long time ago when we met at the Methodist Church. I have just talked to our mutual friend, Donna Born, and she is just broken hearted and would certainly be here if possible. I extend my sympathy to you and your family and wish for you a much better year in 2008. Sincerely, Winnie Figenshau

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a parent but to lose a child I am sure is 10 times worse. My heart goes out to you and your family. I will try and make it to her funeral but I am not sure. If I don't make it remember I am there in spirit. As you told me at my Dad's just call if you need anything. Just think know she will be listening to my Dad's stories again. Love, Toni

We enjoyed the times we have had with Kim throughout the years we have known her and the Wassather family. From a flower girl at Matt and Trisha's wedding to the family gathering last Ocyober when Matt returned from Iraq and Matt, trisha, and the girls came to visit. Linda, Sarah, Terry, Tina, Trisha and Eric, I am so sorry that she was part of your lives for such a short time. What a special young woman, with a wonderful smile!
