Kip Kauffman Obituary

Kip was born on December 28, 1969 to Richard and Dorothy (Triebs) Kauffman in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. The family later moved to Loyal, Wisconsin where Kip learned the value of hard work at an early age on the family farm. He carried those values throughout his life while employed by various unions as a heavy equipment operator. He was currently employed by Cruz Construction, working on the North Slope Oilfields in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Kip took immense pride in his work, not for the recognition, but for the security and comfort it provided his family.
Although his work often took him away from home, family meant everything to Kip and he did everything for their benefit, hoping to instill in them the same work ethic and commitment to family. He just hoped to teach his family the importance of perseverance, honest work and compassion.
In his limited free time at home, Kip enjoyed road trips in his corvette with his wife, who he was planning to retire and see the world with.
Kip is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Chrouser) Kauffman of Stratford, son: Austin (Rae) Kauffman of Eau Claire, daughters: Rylyn (Ben) Glab of Marshfield, Sydney (Tucker) Knoeck of Stratford, Sadie (Hunter)Kauffman of Stratford, and Sailor (Mason) Kauffman of Stratford. Grandchildren Lindsey, Hayes, Aydin and Knox.
He is further survived by siblings: Michelle (Layne) Jorgensen of Edinburg, Texas, Tami (Michael) Anderegg Of Great Falls, Montana, Roland (Jenny) Kauffman of Stratford, Wisconsin, Reginald (Lisa Larson) Kauffman of Spencer, Wisconsin, Jennifer Kauffman of Great Falls, Montana, Jerome Kuffman (Dawn Larsen) of Loyal, Wisconsin, Renee (Kevin) Jensen of Rib Lake, Wisconsin, and Mary (James) Bauman of Mosinee, Wisconsin.
Kip was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dorothy and siblings Christopher Kauffman and Racquel Kauffman.
A Celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 from 2-6 p.m. at Stratford Heritage Barn.
