Robert “Bob” Edward Kauffman, 75, of Owosso, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was born March 7, 1950, to Kenneth Edward and Helen M. (Davidhizar) Kauffman. On life’s journey, he was blessed to share 13 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Mary Sue (Link) Kauffman, who survives.
Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Kauffman, and two sisters, Janet Zimmerman and Nancy Moore.
Bob is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Sue; his daughter, Laurel (Roger) Cummings of Owosso; his adopted daughter, Gaelle (Cedric) Purro of Estavayer, Switzerland; his sister, Doris (Allen) Reese of Plymouth; two grandchildren, Brendan and Brady Cummings; two adopted grandchildren, Juliette and Capucine Purro; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Beth, Christi, Lisa, Tracey, Bruce, Debra, Carolyn, Mary Jane, and Jim.
Bob dedicated 53 years of hard work and friendship to C & L Electric Motors. He will be remembered for his easy laugh, love of bowling and fishing, loyalty to IU basketball, and his love of great food and a cold beer shared among friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Clinton Frame Church, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Rock Run Cemetery, he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
Memorial contributions may be directed to The Hospice House of Shiawassee.
