Marianne Hite Obituary
Marianne H. Hite, Goshen, passed away March 28, 2026 at The Restoracy, Goshen, where she had been living the past year.
Marianne was born September 12, 1937, in Alkmaar, Netherlands, to Nicolaas and Herdrine (Hottenga) Wiese.
She moved from the Netherlands to the United States in 1951, and in 1957 married Charles “Chuck” Hite.
Marianne spent over 20 years working as an Inspector for Western Rubber, she also spent her time volunteering for Goshen Hospital and for local air shows that took place in Goshen and Elkhart. She was a lifetime member of the Goshen Moose and the Goshen DAV.
She is survived by two brothers, Nicolaas (Joann) Wiese, Jeffersonville, and Milo Wiese, Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Charles and Marcus Hite, and a brother Bill Wiese.
According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
