Kirk Hendry Beckwith

Kirk Hendry Beckwith, born April 9, 1954 in San Antonio Texas, Kirk went to rest in God's love and light on April 27, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Kirk was a loving father, brother, friend, uncle and grandfather. "Rocky" as he was often affectionately called, was a talented musician who enjoyed sharing his songs on guitar and harmonica. He was a master wood craftsman in his professional life and more importantly, he so loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. His loving family still with him in life include his children Zak Beckwith , Jere Beckwith and grandchildren Connor and Owen; his step children Elizabeth Jones, Heather Higley, Joseph Higley, Matthew Higley, Adam Higley & Jimmy Higley. His sisters Holli Beckwith, Bonnie Delavan, Nikki Jaffe and Jackie Walker, his beloved nieces and nephews, and his dear friends, Susie, Kerry and James. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Beckwith and Lynn Beckwith of San Antonio. His laughter and kind-hearted soul will be remembered as infectious joy which would always bring on more smiles and laughter. What a gift! "If we live, it's to honor the Lord. The family will hold a private memorial service in celebration of his life.
