Kirk was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shellie Lynn (Thompson) Janik. He is survived by his son, Javen Allen Janik; his mother, Carolyn Janik; and his brother, Keith Janik.
In honoring Kirks's wishes, the family has chosen cremation. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
