Kirk Karges

Kirk J. Karges was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on July 26, 1968 to Joseph and Maureen Karges. Kirk passed away in Clinton Township on March 6, 2026.

Kirk was a proud graduate of Michigan State University and lifelong fan of the Michigan State Spartans, he carried the Spartan spirit into every part of his life. He was devoted to his Catholic faith and took great comfort in prayer and the community of his church. He built a respected career on the data analytics side of the banking industry, where his keen mind and integrity earned him the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

A dedicated family man, Kirk cherished time with his loved ones and counted his friendships among his greatest blessings. He was known for his warmth, generosity, and steady presence in the lives of family and friends. An avid golfer and exceptional athlete, he maintained remarkable fitness throughout his life and enjoyed many rounds with friends on courses across south east Michigan.

Beloved husband of Connie Karges. Loving father of Brandon Karges, Bryce Karges, Rorie Karges, Victoria (Kyle) Suminski, Anthony Zipay, and Nicholas Zipay. Very proud grandfather of Carson, Stella, and Sophia. Dearest brother of Ken (Amy) Karges and Keith Karges.
