born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on September 28, 1964, to the parentage of
Charles Andrew Patterson and Marjorie Thomas Patterson.
He was preceded in death by father, Charles Andrew Patterson; grandfathers,
Willie J. Patterson and Lem Thomas Sr; grandmothers, Inell K. Patterson and
Tannie B. Thomas.
Mr. Kirk Andrew Patterson is survived by siblings: Constance Cunningham
[Colorado Springs], Wayne (Gabriela) Patterson [Edmond], Tracey Allen [Colorado
Springs], Douglas (Michelle) Patterson [Denver], Derrick (Myeka) Maiden [Baton
Rouge], Lakeasha Maiden [Houston]; Children [Crystal Nicole Patterson, Victoria
Louise Patterson, Olivia Elise Patterson]; and a host of other relatives and loved
ones.
Kirk enjoyed sports! He often played for many years on the Kahuna Softball team
during the summer. He volunteered to train with the fire department until his
health failed. Kirk was a diehard Pittsburg Steeler fan. He was employed for 28
years with Excalibur Machine & Sheet Metal Manufacturing as a programming
engineer. He also volunteered for a year with the Fire Department under the CAPS
(Community Advancing Public Safety) Program. Above all he was a man of faith
that attended Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church.
