Kirk Daniel Sutton, 65, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 14, 1958 in Pittsburg, PA, a son of the late Harry George Sutton Jr. and Jean Harris Sutton.
He was also predeceased by his siblings, Kim Sutton-Tyrrell and Todd Sutton.
Kirk was an honorable person, who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was devoted to the love of his life and took pride in taking care of her every need. Kirk was also a devoted son who faithfully took care of his parents with honor in their later years. He was the favorite uncle and enjoyed the special bond he had with his nieces and nephews. Growing up at Mt. Lebanon UMC in Pittsburg, he had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior. Following in his father, uncle, brothers and nephew's family tradition, he was a proud Eagle Scout, Earning the Distinguished Order of the Arrow. He loved going on cruises, telling jokes, playing cards, working with his hands and was an avid Steelers football fan.
Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Alice Walter Sutton; children, Kyle Kingery (Katelyn) and Kelsey Calhoun (Jordy); brother, Mark Sutton; brother-in-law, Mark Tyrrell; sister-in-law, Cindy Sutton; grandchildren, Khloe Kingery, Kenzie Kingery, Grey Kingery and Jayce Calhoun; nieces and nephews, Christina, Katie, Scott, Andy and Matt, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:30pm Sunday, September 15, 2024 at North Conway Baptist Church with Paster Jay Worthington officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
