Kirk Douglas Talley

Kirk "Dougie" Douglas Talley, 34, of Kankakee, Illinois, formerly of Carmi, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.  He was born on July 26, 1989, at Fairfield Hospital, the son of Douglas Lee and Tammy Gail (Wardrip) Talley. Dougie was a former student at Brownsville School. He loved music and pacing the halls listening to his favorite songs. 

     Dougie is survived by his parents, Doug and Tammy Talley of Carmi, IL; siblings, Tiffany Earl, Jarrod Talley, Alyse Jensik and Vincent Talley; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Rosemary Talley, and Mary Alice Wardrip. 

     Funeral services for Dougie Talley will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, with burial at North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Family and friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dougie's memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses, and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, or mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
