Kit Ford Obituary

Visit the Askew Funeral and Cremation Services - Cavalier website to view the full obituary.

Kit Thomas Ford, beloved infant son of Mitchell and Courtney (Rehovsky) Ford, peacefully went to heaven in his parents' loving arms on October 12, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Though his time with us was brief, Baby Kit filled our hearts and lives with immeasurable joy and love.

Kit was born on October 3, 2025, after pregnancy-related medical complications, joining his adoring older siblings, Grady (8), Cora (5), Brooks (3), and Rocco (1). His siblings were ecstatic at the news of their baby brother. Expected to arrive around February 6, 2026, his short life was a precious and unforgettable gift to his family.

We entrust Baby Kit to God’s loving care and pray that the angels and saints guide him to watch over and intercede for us.

Forever cherished and remembered, Kit Thomas is survived by his loving parents, Courtney and Mitchell; his siblings, Grady, Cora, Brooks, and Rocco; his paternal grandparents, Tom and Pam Ford; his maternal grandparents, Carol and Steve Rehovsky; his aunts and uncles, Ashley (Brandon) Nordstrom, Matt (Kim) Ford, Steph (Tom) Klabunde, Cole (Sarah) Rehovsky, and Spencer (Madysen) Rehovsky; as well as his cousins, Isaac, Caleb, and Braley Nordstrom, Allie and Connor Ford, Colt, Olivia, and Knox Klabunde, and Lincoln and Jonah Rehovsky.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Brigid's Catholic Church in Cavalier with burial to follow in Park River, ND.
