Kitty Jamieson

  Kitty Jamieson, a cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on May 9, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Albert and Betty Drake, Kitty lived a life filled with love, laughter, and steadfast faith.

  A devoted Christian, she found joy and strength in attending Bible class and church, where she formed deep and lasting friendships. Her faith was matched only by her dedication to her family. She was especially devoted to her husband, Rick Jamieson, with whom she built a loving and supportive home. 

  Known for her gentle heart and quirky sense of humor, Kitty had a unique ability to bring joy to those around her. She loved socializing and fellowship and was a treasured presence in her community. As a caregiver by nature, she offered unwavering support to friends and family, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Rick. 

  Kitty is survived by her daughters, Tania Allen and Beth Sullivan, both of Weatherford, Texas; her grandchildren, Tyra, Rachel, Jaidyn, Ethan, Nolan, and Logan; her sister-in-law, Teena Williams and husband, Ted of Hayden, Alabama; and her nephews, Patrick and Jay. 

  A service celebrating her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford, Texas. Kitty's final resting place will be next to her husband at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
