Krishnamoorthy “Kris Gopal” Gopalasubramanian passed away peacefully at home and reached Siva Sayujyam on 24 January 2023, with his devoted and beloved wife Shashi, and caring and loving daughter Sapna by his side.
Gopal was a loving father, kind husband, caring brother, devoted son, genuine and sincere friend, and a true inspiration to everyone who knew him. His journey with glioblastoma speaks to his will power and grace, as he continued to thrive through each challenge in the past seven years.
Gopal was a brilliant problem-solver with a pragmatic approach, a true mentor and patient teacher, and found immense joy in helping and giving. He would brighten any room with his dashing smile and witty humor. His perseverance knew no bounds and his optimism and strength will forever be valued.
Shashi and Sapna would like to thank every person who has been a part of Gopal’s journey. He lived fully with an incredible sense of gratitude and upon passing continued to contribute to the community by donating his brain to research.
His passing is a great loss to all of us, yet we are thankful that he is now resting in peace and has attained moksham.
