Kristen V Arbor, passed away on October 21, 2025, at her home. Born on May 16, 1967, in Elmhurst, Illinois, Kristen was known for her fun-loving personality and creativity. She had an innate ability to bring joy to those around her, often brightening the room with her humor and silliness. Kristen led her life with love and selflessness.
Throughout her life, Kristen demonstrated a profound love for her family and friends. She cherished her partner of over 30 years, James Hendricks III, and was a devoted mother to her child, Lena Hendricks, step children Megan Callahan, Jaclyn Hendricks, and Julia Kaleel. She took great pride in being a grandmother to Cara Callaghan, Declan Callaghan, Luca Hendricks, Sara Bolkovatz, and Benjamin Bolkovatz.
Kristen had a passion for music, particularly Fleetwood Mac, which resonated deeply in her life. Her keen sense of fashion was another outlet of her vibrant personality. She enjoyed long walks and boat rides, always appreciating the little moments that life offered.
In addition to her accomplishments and interests, Kristen found immense joy in her fur babies, Buddy Love, Baby Fay, Max, and Amber, who were beloved companions throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Victor Arbor; her mother, Violet Arbor; her sister, Susan Kaleel; and her son, Joseph Hendricks. Kristen’s legacy of laughter, love, and caring will remain in the hearts of those she touched. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who had the privilege to have known her.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
