Kathleen A. Arbor, 82, of Waukesha, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Angels Grace Hospice Center of Oconomowoc, WI.
Kathleen was born on July 5, 1942 in Chicago the daughter of Victor and Dorothy Arbor. She grew up in the Chicago area and the Lord blessed her with four children, Jacqueline, John, Jimmy and Geno. Kathleen worked in the restaurant industry for the majority of her working career. She was a hard worker and made sure those she served were well taken care of. She was a loving and involved mother and instilled these values of hard work and service to others in her children. Kathleen was generous, strong, a bit feisty, and kind. She had a special connection with animals and had many beloved pet dogs over the years. Kathleen was a good woman and will be sincerely missed by those she leaves behind.
She is survived by: her two children, Jacqueline, and Geno (Kristen) Sheedy of Waukesha, WI; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Sheedy; her brother, Patrick H. Arbor of Lake Barrington, IL; her grandchildren, Eddie (Krystle) Sheedy of Eden Prairie, MN; Faith, Hope, Grace, and Loyal Sheedy all of Waukesha, WI; and her two dear great-grandchildren, John and Aria. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her two dear sons, John and Jimmy Sheedy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kathleen's honor may be made to the Bichon Rescue Mission.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:15PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at St. Alexander Catholic Church in Villa Park, IL (300 S. Cornell Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181). Burial will immediately follow the mass in Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery of Hillside, IL. A Reception Party will be held following the burial and the family will provide details.
