An avid reader, Kristen could often be found with a Stephen King mystery in hand, lost within its pages. The beach was Kristen's sanctuary, a place where she found peace in the sounds of the ocean waves. Her favorite destinations were the sandy shores of Gulf Shores, AL, Destin, FL, and Daytona Beach, FL. A culinary enthusiast, Kristen found joy in the kitchen, especially when preparing Holiday meals for family gatherings and shrimp and grits, for her dad, Tony. Her skills were showcased not only through practice but also through the countless hours she spent watching the cooking channel. Kristen's love for pets knew no bounds. Her dogs and cats were more than companions; they were family, sharing in her daily joys, especially her beloved dog, Layla. Most of all, Kristen treasured each moment spent with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Siegel, Justin DeOrnellis, Steve Wyble, Jerry Harrison, Steve Morriss and Troy Harrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Gregory Siegel and Calvin Siegel and niece, Joanna DeOrnellis.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cuddle Cat Rescue or Northeast Missouri Humane Society. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Kristen, please visit our floral store.
