Kristen E. Murray

Kristen E. (Ward) Murray, 46, of Windham, NH, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. She was born on July 20,1978, in Boston, MA, to John and Phyllis (Steele) Ward.

Kristen was a life-long resident of Windham. After graduating from Pinkerton Academy in 1997, she pursued her bachelor's degree from Bryant College where she was a member of Tri Sigma sorority and met many lifelong friends. After college she had a successful career in Human Resources most recently as Manager, Global Benefits & Payroll at ISC2.

In addition to Kristen, she was lovingly referred to as Mom, Auntie, Pumpkin, Krissa, Krizzen, and Steiner. Kristen had a pure heart and bright light that brought so much joy and happiness into the world to the lives of everyone around her.

Many may think of Kristen and remember her beautiful smile, or purple, she loved the actual color purple proven by her first car a purple Dodge Neon, or family, she was the glue that kept her family together and she loved them with her whole heart, or friends, aside from the show "Friends" which she could recite every episode of and was often playing on repeat at her house, Kristen was a dear, trustworthy and loyal friend.

Kristen married her love Keith in 2008, honeymooned in Disney, one of her favorite places on earth and soon after built their home next door to the family home where she grew up. Kristen enjoyed the simple things in life, she was content with her weekends in the summer at the family pool, reading a book, listening to music, hanging with friends and family and watching the kids dive, swim, do handstands or hold their breath under water while she timed them. Kristen was an enthusiastic Boston sports fan who loved Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and Patriots.

Above all, Kristen was a devoted mother who loved her children Parker and Ellana more than anything else in this world. This year she become a "football Mom" and often talked about how she loved watching Parker play football and was proud of his dedication and commitment. Gymnastics was Ellana's favorite, and Kristen would be there for every practice inside and outside of the gym. She was so excited and proud of Ellana this summer when she "nailed" the back handspring right in their front yard. She treasured all the time spent with them.

In addition to her beloved husband, Keith, and children, Parker and Ellana Murray, Kristen is survived by her mother, Phyllis Ward; her siblings, Joe Ward and his children, Emerson and Connor, Jim Ward and his wife Jody, and their children, Dylan and Ryan, her brother-in-law

Brian Murray and his children, Avery and Lila; and her father-in-law Doug Murray in addition to many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, John "Jack" Ward, her brother, John "Johnny" Ward Jr., and mother-in-law Donna Murray.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 1-4pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will immediately follow, beginning at 4pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home.
