Kristen Snider Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors- Milford on Dec. 19, 2025.
Kristen Dawn Snider, 54, of Highland, Michigan, was called home to be with the Lord on December 15th, 2025. She passed at her home, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous six-year battle with breast cancer.
Kristen was born on May 19th,1971 in Detroit Michigan to Richard and Carol Brahm. From an early age, she was guided by faith and grew up in Milford, Michigan.
Throughout her life, Kristen worked as a childcare provider until she was blessed with her three beautiful daughters,
whom she lovingly homeschooled and devoted her life to raising. They became her world and her greatest earthly joy.
Kristen found joy in card and board games, camping, crocheting, crafting, and rock hunting, and she took great comfort in prayer, scripture, and fellowship. For many years she enjoyed teaching art classes at Heritage Homeschool Co-op. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, remarkable strength through hardship, deep love for her family, compassion for others, humility, and steadfast devotion to God.
Kristen is survived by her three daughters, Maggie, Emma, and Abigail; her husband, Shane; her mother, Carol Brahm; her siblings, Mike Brahm, Kevin (Dawn) Brahm, Susan (Jay) Flowers, and Julie Brahm-Henkel; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brahm and her sister in law, Denise Brahm, whom she now rejoins in eternal life.
A celebration of life service will be held on December 27th at 11:00am with a visitation beforehand at 10:00am. Both will be held at Oak Pointe Church in Milford, 1250 South Hill rd, Milford, MI, 48381.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hot Pink Helpers, a non-profit organization that goes directly towards helping families in need during their breast cancer journey. They have been a great support to Kristen and her family through her own battle. Donate here: https://hotpinkhelpers.com
