Kristie Jo Herman

Kristie Jo Herman, 52, of Woodville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on January 19, 2026. Kristie dedicated her life to caring for others as a homemaker and caregiver. She cherished her family deeply, especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Kristie found peace and joy at the beach and had a special place in her heart for animals. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Kristie was preceded in death by her parents, William Holloway and Bobbie Jean Allbaugh and a brother, Mark Chaney. She is survived by her children, Brittney Smith (Clifton), Emily Herman, and Lindsey Herman; her stepfather, Steven Allbaugh; her sister, Jami Bussell (Ryan); three cherished grandchildren, Brylan, Cannon, and Dawson; and nieces and nephew. A celebration of Kristie's life will be held at the Shell Point Beach Pavilion on Saturday, February 7, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of a life so beautifully lived. The family is being assisted by Skip and Trey Young, along with Paula, Heather, and Amanda. Arrangements are being handled by Young Family Funeral Home, Crawfordville (850-926-5919).
