Kristina Helen Griswold Del Valle, 55, passed away on July 18, 2025 at Chicago's Swedish Covenant Hospital. Born in Chicago, Kris graduated from Mather High School and worked for many years in the hospitality industry. She opened and trained staff at several Bar Louie locations and was well-loved in the industry. Adoring mother of Kenneth Alexander Del Valle, the late Sean Joseph Del Valle, Alexander Lyden (Dinka Demirovic) Del Valle, and Scott Anthony Del Valle. Loving daughter of Helen and Joseph Eng, Kenneth and Lydia Griswold, Rita Del Valle, and Kenneth Del Valle. Proud grandmother of Aydin Lyden Del Valle. Dear sister of Joel, Josh, Kathleen, Kellye, Scott, Stuart, Magan, and Monica Eng. Former spouse of Kenneth Del Valle Sr.; Aunt, cousin, and friend of many. Faithful companion of Target the cat, whom she found at the store of the same name. The family has chosen private cremation.
