Kristina Adkins Scott, 59, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 12:56 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2025 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

No services will be held. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville is assisting with the arrangements.

A native of Fort Campbell, KY she was born February 6, 1966 the daughter of the late Kinney Charles Adkins and Ethel Elizabeth Grey Adkins. She retired from Nursing at Western State Hospital. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Trail of Tears Commission. She was also an Ordained Minister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Scott; and her sister: Kyle Ann Adkins; and her brother-in-law: Jerry Hensen.

Survivors include her daughters: Charlotte (Casey) Davidson and Mary Dyer both of Hopkinsville, KY; and her brothers: K C (Teresa) Adkins of Clarksville, TN and Kevin (Terry) Adkins of Lacy, KY; and her sisters: Karin (Bob) Simpson of Saint Paris, OH and Kelly Gentry of Hopkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren: Colin McCain, Corbin Gidlof, Isaiah Davidson, Chloe Gidlof, Lucas Pulley, Hudson Davidson and Elliott Davidson; and her great grandchildren: Cayde and Ripley; and her husband: David Wasilenski.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trail of Tears.
