Kristina “Tina” E. Withelder (nee Kuzma), passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 78. She was the beloved daughter of the late Michael Kuzma and Ellen (nee Mortimer). Tina was the devoted wife of her late husband Robert Withelder.
Tina was a loving mother to her children Gregory (Monica) and Jeffrey; the caring sister of Victoria Haley (Vernon) and Michael Kuzma (Renee); and an adoring grandmother to Julianna, Sabrina, and Brandon.
Tina was a graduate of St Hubert Catholic High School and later worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia for 41 years as a Grants Management Specialist, where she also met some very dear friends.
Tina loved reading books, watching her favorite television shows, taking trips to the beach and Sunday dinners with her son. She also enjoyed following her sons’ sports careers and learning about baseball, but most enjoyable of all, she never missed a game on Gamechanger for her Grandkids “they are the best.”
Tina was one of the most kind, hardworking, self-sacrificing people in the world, and despite battling such a horrendous disease, always found a way to find the good in her life. She said the best gift of all was becoming a mom and that family is everything. She was so proud of “her boys” and watching them grow up as adults through life. She will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Wednesday June 4, 2025 from 9:30AM-10:30AM and to her funeral mass at 10:30am at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tina’s memory can be made to the ALS Foundation https://www.als.org/?form=FUNGPRPNBJP or mailed to PO Box 37022 Boone, IA 50037.
