Kristine Ann (Wood) Franklin, 58 of Logansport died after a brief battle with breast cancer. She was born in Logansport Memorial Hospital on May 4, 1966 to Phillip and Carolyn (Larkin) Wood.
She was a graduate of Logansport High School.
On August 17, 2007 she married Matthew Franklin. Kris enjoyed spending time with her old friends and work friends when she resided in Lafayette.
Survivors include her husband, Matthew, daughter, Reiss Weaver of Bloomington, mother, Carolyn Earnest (Bill) of Logansport, brother, Scott Wood (Barb) of Marion and nephews, Olie Wood of Muncie and Phillip Wood of Roslindale, MA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Wood, maternal grandparents, Tom and Marie Larkin and paternal grandparents, Othello and Lillian Wood Wince.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family would like to thank her special friend, Barbi Raderstorf for all her help and Guardian Angel Hospice for their great care of Kris.
