Kristy used to say she was born in the wrong time, meaning: she was very into the era of the 50s and 60s, especially when it came to music, the 'Doo-wop' and 'Country'. She loved to two-step and did so naturally to almost every dance style, and if she didn't know how, she would ask her grandpa Wesley Stiffarm to teach her. And before you know it, she would be anxious to get to a dance somewhere, and show her style. Kristy was raised by Cree and Assiniboine elders and was given the name of Ki-iw-Kwah-ne Wis-Kwew (Eagle Feather Woman). She went to school in Lodgepole & Harlem, MT; Wahpeton, ND and graduated from Flandreau, SD. She went onto job corp in Clearfield, UT; earning certification in being a brake technician and was placed to work in Ogden. Kristy worked briefly at the Fort Belknap Detention Center. Amongst her numerous jobs, she had returned to Wahpeton, ND and became a matron; she loved working with and raising children as many of her nieces and nephews can attest. She also became a certified bartender, a job she thoroughly loved it gave her the opportunity to see and visit with people. Some of the hobbies Kristy loved: woodworking, dancing, fishing, boating, 4-wheeling&working on her truck, and especially cruising around listening to music. Kristy was truly an ole soul and was not afraid to visit with anyone. She delighted in your company, happy and full of life, never missing an opportunity to give you a big hug saying "Love you" Kristy is survived by daughter Wynnter Leigh and twin sons Wesley Jr. & Hunter Davis Anderson.
