Kristy Lee Berg Townsend suddenly passed away on September 7th, 2021. She was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on May 30th, 1979, the daughter of Rodger William Berg and Debra Jo Lyons Hunt.
For those that knew her she was vibrant, spunky, and full of life! Despite the tramatic brain injury she suffered in 1999 at a young age of 19, she was a determined young lady, she knew her limits yet always pushed them and pushed them. She would never settle and always there for others. She loved being up on the mountain of Sourdough Wilderness Ranch, camping with her family and watching her little dog get so excited over the chipmunks, and driving the Rhino, side by side all over the mountain. She loved how the moose and deer would come into camp, and would get so excited.
She loved her job of almost 18 years at the Clinton ,Walmart; she loved all the people she worked with, she loved making a difference, and wouldn't pass up an opportunity to bring a smile to anyone and everyone. Kristy loved to keep you on your toes and make you laugh in any situation. She was a great Mom, she lived to have her son Cameron around her, she would light up every time he was around her. She was a best friend to her Mom, they were always together...she love giving her big brother Steven a hard time all in fun....she will be missed so very much. Kristy willl be forever in our hearts.
She is survived by: Cameron M. Townsend her son, Rodger Berg her father, Debbie Hunt her mother, Steven Berg her brother, Richard K. Hunt her Step-Father, as well as a half brother and a half sister, and countless friends and associates she impacted.
