Kruze Ricks, the beloved Maltese of Robb and Jeryl Ricks of Fairmount, passed away after 18 wonderful years of bringing joy, snuggles, and unconditional love to his family.
Kruze came into Jeryl’s life at a pivotal time—on the very day all four of her children left home to begin their own lives. From that moment on, he became her faithful companion, filling the house with warmth, love, and the comfort of his steady presence.
Through the years, Kruze was more than a pet; he was family. He traveled alongside Jeryl and Robb on countless trips to Florida, Gatlinburg, and beyond. Whether near or far, he never left Jeryl’s side. Even in the everyday moments, like visiting the gymnastics studio to see the kids, Kruze was there, loyal and loving as ever.
Kruze’s companionship was a true blessing to his family, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who loved him. His little paws may no longer walk beside Jeryl, but his memory will forever remain in her heart.
