Kurt Doepke Obituary
In addition to his parents, survivors include daughter Ellen of Lansing, and Jacob of Manistique; brother Fred Jr. (Jolene) of Brighton, Gretchen (Kirk) Grinnell, and Nikki Tremblay, all of Gould City; nephew Cale (Amy) Grinnell of Fort Wayne; niece Anabel (Craig) Bott of Midland, and one grandniece, Kynlee Bott.
Kurt also left his longtime friend Carole Keller and many cousins.
Kurt was a lifetime Master Carpenter who always took great pride in his craft. Over the years, he built many solidly built homes. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved walking through the woods, taking pictures of wildlife. He also spent many happy hours with family, playing cards and enjoying wonderful meals.
A gathering of family and friends celebrating the life of Kurt will take place later in the year.
Memorials may be directed to Gould City Presbyterian Church or to the family.
Fausett Family Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
