Kurt W. Klunder Jr.

Kurt Klunder passed away peacefully on March 31, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication to his family and his life's work.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Eleanor Klunder, and his children: Kurt Klunder III (Sabrina), Robert Klunder (Patty), and Kristen Scherber (widowed, preceded in death by Jack). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Kelsey, Katie, Lindsey, Aurelia, and Derek, and a cherished great-grandfather to three great-grandchildren.

Kurt was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence brought guidance, humor, and steadiness to those around him. An incredible engineer throughout his life, he carried not only the title but also the sharp mind, curiosity, and character that defined it. His intelligence was matched by his strong personality and unwavering commitment to doing things the right way.

Above all, Kurt was the heart of his family-a true patriarch who led with strength, wisdom, and deep love. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Though his absence leaves a profound void, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace.

Celebration of his life will be April 5th at the Florida family home.
