Kurt Laatsch Obituary
He is survived by his 4 children; Rainer, Herbert, Gary and Heidi, 4 grandchildren; David, Nicole, Joel and Elizabeth and 5 great-grandchildren; Iann, Ashley, Jesus, Brooklyn and Jason, 3 sisters and 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Custer Christiansen Mortuary, located at 124 S. Citrus Avenue, Covina, CA 91723 (626) 331-8231 at 2:00 PM, for information on flower delivery, please contact Custer Christiansen Mortuary but in lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the American Heart Association at (800) AHA-USA1 or at http://honor.americanheart.org/site/TR/Events/General?pxfid=263833&fr_id=1030&pg=fund

We are sorry to hear of your recent loss and would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family on the recent passing of your father. Knowing the close bond you shared with him, I am sure you are going through the most difficult and trying time. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that our prayers are always with you. Your dad was such an amazing person who touched the lives of many. I remember the many times when Matthew was over at your place and how he would regale him with his war stories. I was very fortunate to meet him before this happened sure enjoy listening to his autobiography while he was telling Matthew and learn a lot about him while he was in the war.
I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. We hope that you find courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss. Matthew and I well pray the he enjoys the meeting with your Mom and the rest of his family.
