Kurt David Ulrich, October 1, 2022 long time resident of the Chicago, West Elston neighborhood. Beloved husband of Sue Ulrich, and devoted father of Kelly Asplund (Gabriel), Rachel Asplund (Luis), Sara Ulrich (Monte Que) and Kurt Ulrich. Cherished grandfather of Isabel, Damien, Arthur, Ariel, Noah, Liam, Maggie, Mason and Lyelli. Kurt was a devoted brother of Charles and Gary Ulrich and uncle and friend to many. Kurt was proceeded in death by his parents the late Charles and late Bernardine (nee Koch) Ulrich. Kurt spent many hours watching golf and his favorite football team, the Chicago Bears! He also enjoyed watching MeTV. He enjoyed planting flowers in the spring for all to admire. He liked to cook, and was known to make one heck of a tasty Spaghetti dinner with lots of salt and garlic! He was a fun loving fur dad to Mickey and Snoopy. Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4 to 8. Prayer Service 5 p.m. at Funeral Home. Cremation following. I am sorry to hear about Kurt passing away. I worked with him at Sears for a long time and he was always very polite, and an all around good guy. Rest in peace, Kurt.
