Kuya Badohoun passed away on April 3, 2024, at age 47. She was born on December 15, 1976 in Lome, Togo, West Africa to Kodzo-Kouma Anani Benjamin Badohoun and Ahounssoussi Agbossou.
Kuya liked to cook and she always said, you don't spend time in kitchen 1, 2, 3 and it's done. She loved people and always made people happy when she was with them. Her wish was to be a nurse and she was about two months away from graduating nursing school when she was diagnosed with cancer. At home, she loved sitting out in the backyard and watching the birds.
Kuya married Tovi Degboe in Newnan, Georgia in Coweta County on June 20, 2008.
Kuya is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Tovi Degboe; their two daughters, Angelique and Manuela Degboe and several other family members.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel, 4373 Atlanta Hwy Hiram, Georgia 30141, on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Badohoun will be held at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Emmanuel Akinola officiating.
Interment will immediately follow at Peaceful Memorial Gardens, 86 Hart Road, Dallas, Georgia, 30157.
