Kye Authur LookingGlass, whose radiant smile brightened the lives of all who knew him, his setting sun occurring on November 8, 2025, way too soon, at the young age of 30. A beautiful and miraculous sunrise on January 19, 1995, Kye was a cherished member of his family and a dear friend to many. He left this world with hearts aching in silence, the void of his presence felt profoundly by all who loved him.

From a young age, Kye embraced the great outdoors, finding joy and solace in nature's beauty. Whether hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the fresh air, he relished every moment spent under the open sky. His passion for the outdoors mirrored his love for his family and friends, with whom he shared countless laughter-filled memories. Kye had an extraordinary gift for humor that brought joy to those around him, often lighting up the room with his playful spirit and infectious laugh.

Kye's Native American heritage played an important role in his life, reminding him of his roots and strengthening the bonds with his loved ones. He carried the legacy of many of his forefathers. 

He is survived by his beloved family, who taught him the values of kindness, resilience and community and showered him with love and guidance throughout his life. Together they will cherish the laughter and memories they created together as family.

He is preceded in death by Rex and Anna Monroe from Leupp, Arizona; Leroy LookingGlass of California; the Snake family of Anadarko, Oklahoma;  his grandmother, Linda Monroe, and Leslie Williams, a brother, Ernest Abeita Jr., and a sister, Katelyn Marie Dean of Tempe.

Kye's love for his family was evident in every interaction; he nurtured deep connections that transcended any distance. To say he will be missed is an understatement; the warmth of his spirit will continue to echo in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. As we gather to remember Kye, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Though his time with us was far too brief, his memory will endure, reminding us to appreciate the beauty of life and the bonds we hold dear.
